Where appropriate, this includes arrival and settling-in support, followed by structured wellbeing check-ins and ongoing contact throughout the academic year. The service acts as a consistent, trusted point of contact — someone students can turn to for guidance, reassurance, or practical support as challenges arise.
BrightScholar Guardian was founded by experienced educator and wellbeing advocate Michael Bracewell. The service is grounded in professional experience, pastoral care principles, and a strong belief that wellbeing underpins academic success. Ongoing professional development ensures that support remains informed, ethical, and responsive to students’ evolving needs.
